A 10-day fixed group departure through Japan in its golden autumn season, covering Osaka, Nara, Kobe, Kyoto, Hiroshima, Miyajima, Hakone, Mount Fuji and Tokyo. Travel by comfortable coach and one bullet train ride, stay in 4 and 5-star city-centre hotels, and enjoy pure vegetarian and Jain lunches and dinners freshly prepared by the Shree Voyages Rajasthani Maharaj. A Gujarati, Hindi and English speaking in-house tour manager accompanies the group throughout.
Arrive at Tokyo International Airport, where our English-speaking guide welcomes you and escorts you to the domestic terminal for your flight to Osaka. On arrival, board the coach and check in to your hotel (standard check-in 16:00 hrs). Overnight in Osaka.
Full-day excursion to Nara and Kobe. Visit Todaiji Temple and Nara Deer Park, then continue to Kobe for the Earthquake Museum, Kobe Meriken Park and the Jain Temple. Return to Osaka for dinner and overnight.
Full-day Kyoto sightseeing: Fushimi Inari Shrine, a traditional Kimono experience and Kinkaku-ji Temple, followed by lunch. Later explore the scenic Arashiyama Bamboo Forest before returning to Osaka for dinner and overnight.
Full-day Osaka sightseeing with Osaka Castle and the Umeda Sky Building. After lunch, enjoy the unique Monk Sumo Experience, then free time for shopping at Shinsaibashi. Dinner and overnight in Osaka.
Pack an overnight handbag, as one large suitcase per person is couriered directly to the Hakone hotel. Check out and travel by road to Hiroshima; after lunch, tour Miyajima Island with the famous Itsukushima Shrine and a short return ferry ride. Dinner and overnight in Hiroshima.
Morning sightseeing of Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park and the Peace Memorial Museum. After lunch, board the bullet train from Hiroshima to Odawara via Nagoya, then transfer by coach for dinner and hotel check-in. Overnight in Hakone.
Visit Owakudani Valley for a photo stop, ride the Hakone Ropeway from Owakudani to Togendai and cruise Lake Ashi to Hakone-machi. After lunch, drive up to Mount Fuji's 5th Station (weather permitting), then continue to Tokyo for dinner and check-in. Overnight in Tokyo.
See the Imperial Palace from outside, visit Asakusa Temple and Nakamise Shopping Street, and go up to the 350-metre observation deck of Tokyo Skytree. After lunch, experience the immersive digital art of teamLab Planets in Toyosu, then stop in Odaiba for photos at the Statue of Liberty and Rainbow Bridge before an evening Sumida River cruise to Hinode Pier. Dinner and overnight in Tokyo.
Half-day Tokyo tour visiting Meiji Jingu Gaien, then Shibuya Crossing and the Hachiko Memorial Statue for a photo stop. After lunch, enjoy free time for shopping at Mitsui Outlet Park Makuhari. Dinner and overnight in Tokyo.
